NIED V-net is a volcano observation network which has been developed in volcanoes for practical application of volcanic eruption prediction and volcanic disaster prevention. In the network, we have deployed a borehole-type seismometer and tiltmeter that detects its precursors at the time of the volcanic eruption of the Izu-Oshima and Izu-Tobu volcanoes in the 1980s and the 2000 Miyakejima eruption. In addition, in order to monitor the accumulation of magma, GNSS and a broadband seismometer are installed. Observed data is digitized at each station and continuously transmitted to NIED.
